Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance UK recognised as one of the best Insurance Employers 2021

London, October 2021 – Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance UK Limited (AND-E UK) announced that it has been named among UK's Best Insurance Employers by Insurance Post in the large employer category. The annual ranking uses anonymous employee feedback to evaluate companies across the insurance industry based on five different criteria: senior management, pay and benefits, work/life balance, diversity, and training & development.

Employing more than 470 colleagues across its UK operations and, like every business in 2021 having faced significant upheaval, the Award is particularly significant for the business as Andy Preacher, People and Culture Director UK explained: „As with most employers across the UK and the rest of the world, 2021 was a challenging time. We are, therefore, incredibly pleased that the efforts of everyone in the UK to support each other through such a difficult period have been recognised. With a significant focus on growth for 2022 and beyond, having such a prestigious employer award will be especially important in attracting the industry’s best talent to come and join us on our journey.”

Insurance Post evaluated the best Insurance Employers in 2021, creating a league table based on the comments and assessments of thousands of employees across the insurance sector, to find out which organisations really go the extra mile for their people. Based on the survey AND-E was not only named a 4* employer in the large employer category, but it also suggests that 93% of its employees would recommend the company as a good place to work.

“This is the second year that we have achieved this accolade and we are grateful to all our colleagues who both took the time to respond to the Insurance Post’s survey, but more importantly have been such a key part in making AND-E what it is”, continued Andy Preacher, People and Culture Director UK.  “For all of the great people initiatives out there, it’s really our colleagues that create the environment and culture at AND-E; my team and the broader leadership team are here only to lead, facilitate and nurture that culture. Listening, and not just hearing our colleague’s feedback, has been incredibly important in helping us navigate and manage change for the better. Removing friction as far as possible from those feedback routes has allowed us to gain some amazing insights into how we can make AND-E the best place to learn, laugh, connect and develop.”

With a principal focus on providing auto-centric insurance and protection products, either directly or on behalf of strategic partners, AND-E offers both retail and corporate products, tailored to meet local needs.  AND-E’s vision is to ‘lead the way in connected mobility protection’.
