Kicking off 2020, AND-E has been named as a Top Employer by the German business magazine, ‘Focus Business’ which evaluates the best employers in German SMEs. Now in its third year, the Top Employer SME 2020 award is organised in partnership with employer rating portal, Kununu. The league table is based on comments and assessments from 4 million employees from 900,000 different companies. Only businesses that have at least 11 reviews and score a minimum of 3.5 out of 5 stars can qualify for a Top Employer award.

AND-E was also nominated as one of 2019’s ‘Most Family-Friendly Employers’ by German women’s magazine, Freundin, reflecting the company’s ambition to provide the best working conditions for parents and create a family-friendly workplace.

Further demonstrating the commitment AND-E has to people development and wellbeing, in the UK, AND-E subsidiary, insurethebox, was named People Development Heroes of the Year in the 2019 North East Contact Centre (NECCA) Awards, recognising the achievements of frontline and support staff that have made the company’s North East contact centres some of the best in the world.  Plus, its initiatives for improving the wellbeing of its staff were acknowledged with an ‘Excellence in Health and Wellbeing’ award in the CIPD North East England awards.

“Creating a workplace and the career opportunities that attract the best in our sector is a core goal for our business”, said Michael Kainzbauer, Group COO.

It is, therefore, very encouraging to see the recognition we have achieved in the last 12 months, much of which is based on the views of our employees.  For us to be eligible for several of the awards we have won, our colleagues need to take time out of their own day to write a review and we are, naturally, extremely proud of what they have been saying.

“The best way for any company to achieve top results is to give its staff respect and to provide a creative, supportive workplace. We will continue to operate with this philosophy in the years to come.”
