UK Only - Employers Liability Register

From 1st April 2011 we are required under FCA rules to keep a register of Employers' Liability Insurance that we have provided to help claimants trace the relevant insurer. Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance Europe fulfils this requirement through the Employers' Liability Tracing Office.

We also have potential liability for policies under which UK commercial lines employers' liability cover has been provided to employers:

(1) for which we were co-insurer but not lead insurer; and/or
(2) which commenced or were renewed before 1st April 2011 and in respect of which no claims were made on or after 1st April 2011.

However, we are not required to make details of those policies available in this register under FCA rules. Responsibility for making information available in relation to policies to which (1) applies is with the lead insurer.

Enquiries about other policies to which (2) applies may be made by individual claimants, their authorised representatives, or insurers or their insurance intermediaries, with potential claims to Matthew Hine at contact@aioinissaydowa.eu or +44 (0)345 0704471.
